The Civil War
He was shot. It was a simple observation. For the man ,or in reality the boy, it was the only observation. People say that when you are close to death that the world seems to slow down. This is a lie.For the boy the world stopped and then restarted at twice the speed. When it slowed the rest of the fighting was over and all that was left was devastation .He slowly, painfully, sat up and he looked down to where he was sure the musket ball had hit.Instead of the blood that he had expected there was fluffy down. He chuckled to himself. He had put the pillow there to make himself appear older. This effect was added to by the dogs hair glued to his chin. It was not the pillow alone that had saved him it was also the range of the sniper and the hard cover book under the pillow. He was sad for the book, it was his favorite, The Iliad, but all the same the book had served a final purpose. He chuckled again at his luck and got up to his feet. He was then shot. The North had not won this battle so the jumpy sentry, a Johny-Reb, had only seen a Yankee standing from a pile of the dead.

The Creation of Sand
Air, Earth, and Fire all came together and gave their worst attributes, but their most powerful. Out of this union, sand was born. Sand, a merciless, cruel creature and constantly expanding. To stop their terrible child, the three entities that had created the beast caged it in, even bringing in their least favorite sibling, Water. So with oceans, mountains, and forests, the great mistake was stopped. After a while, the thing stopped its raging and calmed to a monotone, and even let people into it. This land was Africa and the head of this was Egypt.

The birds beak was finally taking shape which had taken longer than the boy had expected ,the mud wasn't very good for details even with a sharpened stick. It was not the boys first stick but this was the one that hadn't broken. The bird was quite good for a five and a half year old
''LEONARDO!!'' Came the careening cry. Leonardo sprang to his feet startled. It was a very loud sound for such a quiet field. He inadvertently stepped on his bird ruining it. It was disappointing for the boy but not worthy of his tears. He headed for the sound of his mother wondering what was so important. His mother wanted to get him ready he was about to go to his fathers to live there. He would have to leave Vinci and that was also sad for the boy. But were it not for this move the great artist that we know would never have lived.
Leonardo Da'Vinci died in the court of France on May 2, 1519 at the age of sixty seven.A land far away from his beloved Italy

And he ran from his home with a silence that he could only just maintain and only just stop from erupting into a scream. His life had been average and boring. The day that that ended was a gloomy Wednesday right after a rainy Tuesday. That didn't stop his father from ordering him to the field to work and get dirty. His family had a potato farm, almost everyone in Ireland did, and his dad had lost his leg in the last Strait war and since then it had fallen to William to work the fields. It was harvest time and it would involve a lot of digging and in the mud it would be that much harder. The old rusty shovel slid into the grim and William began the laborious task of getting his dinner from the ground. The day passed with nothing of note and with the sky just as gloomy as it was when he had begun. He was nearing the end of his toil when three men appeared in the distance.Three men with swords! William to a look then took a step back and then a few more and started running only to run into the fourth man of this evil troupe. The man took a second to measure the strength it would take to knock him out and then he punched him in the nose. Before he slid into the bitter sweet darkness that surrounded him William felt the rough touch of rope winding onto him and binding his hands and feet. The very last thing he heard was
''Leave him its no use killing him''said a quiet slimy voice. And with that he let the darkness envelope him and he slept for hours
William awoke in the mud and instantly realized that he was suffocating in the same mud that was his bed. He struggled for a few moments and made it into a sitting position and took a second to get his bearings and remembered what had happened. The prints that were in the mud led in the direction of his house. And if I get comments I'll conclude this TEE HEE

A Flair
A flair for the dramatic is an interesting thing that can bring forth a different side to everyone and it can be a very dangerous thing with very serious consequences as the Count Ludwig Travenstein discovered. It was 1920 a booming time for America, or more specifically The U.S.A. But for the small secluded country of Camigera it was a different story entirely the country was still in the more medieval age.Though if you were to ask a native of this country they would say that the were very advanced and even had a brand new canon to fight off the barbarians. I know that this is what they would say because I was one of them. The part of Camigera were I lived was in the North-East were it snowed constantly. The village were I lived was called Leah and it was ruled by the Count Ludwig Travenstein. He was a likable man by many standards and by others he was not.He lived in a castle at the edge of the township .It ,the castle that is, was called Castle Stein, the castle of stone. The count was a very bored man who was always searching for the thing that would keep him occupied for at least the next day. So one day for the fun of it he decided to dress as a bear. This was unfortunate because six friends and I had decided to test ourselves and go hunt bear.... To Be Concluded

Prelude
The king stood on the prow of the small sloop ,the last of the fleet. The rain continued to fall from the dark sky, which seemed to project the feelings of the twelve knights standing around there king. These were the last. ''If only I had been stronger ,if only the Forza hadn't failed,'' thought the king. He turned back to the city and for an instant, hr saw it untouched shining in its former glory. In a flash of lightning the illusion shattered and the king choked. There was no more , the city sank , the city of .......

In a Land
I awoke in a land which was not my own ,in a world that could not be . In a field of tangerine I sprang from a dream world that was more believable than the one were I lay. I was in a grove of lemon colored barked trees with aqua leaves. The grass was a bright orange ,that I loved ,and the dirt was an ugly olive drab , that I didn't. The mountains in the distance that surrounded me were crimson. And strangest of all was the violet sky with its two suns , one of silver and one of indigo. I awoke yet again in a world that was mine. And as I fell back into slumber a sense of peace came upon me as I gazed at the ebony moon and the stunningly milky night sky.

Thoughts?
''Begin,'' cried the Gentleman observing the dual. One man wore a top-hat and held a saber, straight. The other man held a foil, the only weapon he owned.
''Stop now, I don't have to kill you,''whispered the man the man with the saber . He said it under his breath so that only the man across from him heard him. They were starting to circle each other .
''No , you have dishonored me, a noble of great standing,'' replied the fool holding his head a little higher ,his first of two mistakes.
''Very well'' said the man with the hat coldly. And he lunged .He knew he would win and he had no problem killing the man. But some other , better ,swordsmen might have a problem. The saber slashed across and nicked the other mans now extended neck .The mans hands rose to the small scratch ,his second and last mistake. The saber stabbed between the ribs and into the liver and through ,a stab done with the skill that many doctors don't have. The saber then ran across through the aorta, the stomach, and finally the spleen .It then caught on a rid and the swordsman withdrew it ,straight, from the corpse. The look on the ''Nobles''face was alien there . It was a look of surprise from a man that had never been surprised. He fell to the dirt which absorbed the massive amount of blood. The thick circle of trees hid the two men and the corpse. The sun looked sown had the only clear view of the seen for there was not a cloud in the sky. The wondrous estate to the south now belonged to a dead man. And all because of a spilled drink.

Just thinking .......
The blood was beginning to stain the floor the knife was already clean and done away with the victim would not be missed and the murderer was the last person you'd expect. And so the age old game of Cat and Mouse begins.....
